“Hay incoherencias (en los opositores), por un lado dicen estar preocupados por la democracia y están en contra de un proceso eleccionario, que es la máxima expresión democrática en cualquier eje temático”, dijo la autoridad del Ejecutivo.
La intencionalidad de este grupo de políticos opositores es atentar contra un proceso que puede significar un paso inicial para tener nuevas autoridades que debatan a profundidad un cambio estructural en la administración de justicia.
Martínez lamentó las expresiones erróneas de los promotores del voto nulo, quienes insisten en señalar que el partido en función de gobierno tiene candidatos para el proceso electoral.
El diputado de Unidad Demócrata (UD) Wilson Santamaría aseguró que el proceso eleccionario fue desinstitucionalizado por una supuesta acción militante que tomaron algunos candidatos.
Para Martínez, el anhelo de los parlamentarios opositores es retornar al pasado neoliberal, donde se realizaba la elección de los magistrados en el Congreso Nacional y bajo un cuoteo entre los partidos políticos con representación en el Poder Legislativo.
Víctor Borda, diputado del Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS), advirtió que el voto nulo es una opción para desperdiciar la “oportunidad histórica” que tiene el pueblo para transformar y mejorar el sistema judicial boliviano, sin intromisiones políticas.
El legislador deploró que la oposición haga propaganda por el voto nulo cuando el oficialismo viabilizó los comicios judiciales por mandato de la Asamblea Constituyente, que en 2009 materializó la nueva Constitución Política del Estado.
